Moringa Snack Bars
Moringa Snack Bars are perfect for a quick bite as you run out the door or for a picnic in the park. Each bar has one serving of moringa which will give you a nutrient-dense energy boost. They get a chewy sweetness from dates and a satisfying crunch from raw cacao nibs, sunflower seeds and chia seeds.
What is moringa
Moringa, aka “drumstick tree”, it is a fast-growing tree, native to the Himalayan Mountains in northwestern India. It grows in even the poorest quality soil and is researched and actively cultivated by several organizations for the purpose of reducing poverty and malnutrition in developing countries. Moringa has a distinct nutty taste that is similar to matcha but with a sharp taste like radishes at the end.
Health benefits of moringa
- It helps support immune function because it is very nutrient dense with vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron
- Recommended for energy enhancement by researchers and doctors
- Rich in phytochemicals and other antioxidants that maintain your immune system. They also help protect your body from damages by bacteria, fungi, viruses, and pollutants.
- In Ayurveda is it used its antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties.
