Health Benefits of Eggs

My husband and I are egg lovers, we probably go through about a dozen a week. I love having eggs with my breakfast, I use them a lot in my baking, and when I make cloud bread. When buying eggs I highly recommend buying eggs that are either organic or from a small flock without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Here are some of the health benefits of eggs:

  • High-quality protein because they contain a complete range of amino acids, which are essential building blocks in our bodies
  • Good source of energy producing B vitamins
  • I suggest eating both egg whites and yolks because the yolks are high in Omega 3 which is important for improving vision, relieving joint pain, and protecting against heart disease

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp organic cottage cheese *optional
