Health Benefits of Garlic
I am a garlic lover! I love the pungent spiciness it has when enjoyed raw, and the sweetness that comes out when you cook it. When you use garlic in your dishes I recommend that you let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before adding it to the dish. This enhances the health promoting sulfur compounds found in the garlic. Here are some other health benefits of garlic:
- Garlic contains allicin, a sulfur compound, which promotes antioxidant activity and is a powerful antibacterial and antiviral agent that works with vitamin C to combat colds, flus and candida
- Studies have shown that garlic has the ability to lower blood pressure and LDL cholesterol with regular consumption
- Garlic has anti-inflammatory properties due to sulfur compounds that inhibit the enzymes that generate inflammatory agents
- Garlic is also very nutrient rich, containing bone building manganese + calcium and energy boosting vitamin B6, B1 + phosphorus

Hi Jesse Lane,
I was wondering if you had any meal plans, recipes or information on O+ blood, hypothyroidism and gluten intolerance. I spoke to a friend who is gluten intolerant and she recommended me to stop eating wheat. Since I have stopped eating wheat and gluten, I am hive FREE! Any information or websites would be helpful. I am not sure how to do menus for myself and my family who loves bread. I really appreciate you responding. Thanks so much!
Hi Tami,
