Health benefits of Chia Ginger Lemonade
This lemonade is bursting with superfoods to help you have the most seamless pregnancy possible. I drank this so often to soothe my nausea and help digestion but my husband even loved it too! It’s perfect for the whole family.
Chia Seeds
- Chia seeds are packed with fibre to help keep your digestion running smoothly and regularly.
- They are high in anti-inflammatory omega-3 fats which are awesome for boosting energy.
Lemons
- Lemons have been used for centuries to aid feelings of nausea. Sometimes even just the smell of lemon is enough to help you feel better which is amazing for morning sickness.
- Lemons are also high in immune-boosting vitamin C, can aid in digestion and help reduce symptoms of heartburn.
Ginger
- Not only does ginger have serious anti-nausea properties, it also helps to boost circulation which means both mama and baby are getting adequate blood supply.
- Ginger also helps boost immunity, can control blood sugar levels to prevent gestational diabetes and helps your body absorb more nutrients – which means baby gets more too!

- ½ – 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated and peeled
