The connection between stress and energy levels
Our bodies can’t tell the difference between mental stress and physical stress. When you are stressed out your body goes into “fight or flight” mode which means all of your blood goes to your muscles so you can either fight or run away. Your body doesn’t care that you are no longer a caveman and that the stress is caused by work rather than a life-threatening run-in with a lion.
In fight or flight mode your body is also flooded with the stress hormone cortisol which is created by your adrenal glands. When you are chronically stressed out, your adrenals are always producing hormones and eventually, they hit a point where they can no longer keep up. When this happens it is called adrenal fatigue and it affects your energy levels and causes brain fog, anxiety and trouble sleeping.

Here is the comment that I left on LinkkedIn about this:
This is a very good video and you did a very good job on it. As far as people being super-stressed, I think that people have about 50 times the stress that our ancestor’s had before 12,000 years ago when money was created. It is possible to get rid of this stress but Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita that it is possible but it is harder than to stop the wind.
I have just decided that stress is the major cause of being overweight. Make this excellent video part of a group of videos. Also stress destroys happiness. Which would be worse, to be very healthy and depressed or be in terrible health and be happy? So you can make another video on how important sleep is to avoiding stress. Mariah Carey had a nervous breakdown and said that it was due to a lack of sleep. You can then tell people how to sleep better and longer if they need to.
Then you can make another video about the importance of exercise to reduce stress. I know a women that needs to run 5 miles a day to reduce her immense stress. You can make another video on special exercises to reduce stress like yoga and tai chi. I started doing both at age 12. Tai chi is the opposite of life. Everyone is always rushing. With tai chi you move in slow motion like you are in a time warp.
A group of videos support each other. Then if it goes well you can do more videos on other things that reduce stress like grounding or earthing. This can help people sleep and reduce stress. It makes such a difference that health expert and multi-millionaire, David Wolfe, never wears shoes. They have special shoes now to make it similar to walking barefoot. You can even demonstrate exercises on a video that works much better than words and pictures
