Garlicky Green Guacamole

I created this Garlicky Green Guacamole to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! There are a million different guacamole recipes with tons of ingredients, but I like to keep mine simple with only 4 ingredients so the avocado can really shine. The garlic adds a spicy kick and the cilantro adds a delicious freshness and the lime balances everything with its acidity. I actually didn’t add salt to my Garlicky Green Guacamole because it is usually enjoyed with salty chips, but you can always add a sprinkle if you feel it is missing.

Garlicy Green Guacamole

(dairy free, gluten-free, nut-free, paleo)

Prep time: 5 minutes | Serving Size: 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 ripe avocado, cut into chunks
  • Juice from ½ a lime

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mash together with the back of a fork.
  2. Enjoy with yucca chips, in a burrito or taco.

Ingredients
