I absolutely LOVE Jesse Lee Lane’s live online cooking classes! I think it is such a neat idea to be able to follow along with her while you cook/bake, and she is always replying to questions that people have in the online chat. Jesse Lane is always so excited during her cooking classes that it gets you excited to cook alongside her and she keeps you engaged and offers plenty of alternatives to use in her recipes in case you don’t have a particular ingredient. My favourite thing about her live online cooking classes would have to be the fact that you basically have her right in the kitchen with you, which I think is so much fun! I definitely recommend to anyone who loves to cook, or even if you are just starting out. Not only is it super fun to follow along with her, but then at the end you have created a delicious meal that you get to eat right away!

Anyone can watch a video or cooking show on TV, but the chefs move so fast it is impossible to follow along in the kitchen without having to pause every few seconds.

A live online cooking class is like having me in your kitchen with you as you bake.

The cooking class is live so you can easily follow along without having to pause your screen and you can ask questions in the chat whenever you are confused.

Following alongside Jesse Lane during her online cooking classes has been helpful, entertaining and fun! It’s interesting to hear her personal connection to each recipe, and I enjoy all the little facts she gives about the ingredients she uses. Every time I tune in, I learn something new and discover more healthy ingredients that I can incorporate into my daily cooking. Having the opportunity to personally ask Jesse Lane questions while I follow along has also been very advantageous. Get to know Jesse Lane

Hello, my name is Jesse Lane Lee, BSc, CNP and I am a cheerful Holistic Nutritionist, motivating speaker, cookbook author, and founder of JesseLaneWellness.com. I am an instructor at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and teach cooking classes at The Big Carrot, Toronto’s first certified organic health food store. I have appeared as a guest expert on national and local television.

I was fortunate to grow up with a mom who is an incredible cook who taught me how to bake and cook at an early age. Growing up, my mom was busy driving me and my two sisters to and from activities every night, so she enlisted our help cooking dinners. My sisters and I were also really into dessert so we all baked regularly; there was never a shortage of sweets in our house!

I have had my own struggles with food allergies and irritable bowel syndrome, but I always refused to sacrifice yummy food. I have a knack for transforming everyday guilty pleasures into healthy creations. I can’t wait to you how fun it is to play in the kitchen and create delicious yet healthy meals that accommodate different allergies and eating styles. I will also teach you how you can healthify your favourite recipes.

Here is how my live online cooking classes work:

  1. Purchase or register for the class.
  2. Once your payment/registration has gone through, you will receive an email from me with a unique URL which will give you access to the live video stream and recipe.
  3. Pick up your ingredients a few days before the class if you are attending live.
  4. Return to the unique URL and watch me walk you through the recipe while you bake along with me.

Jesse Lane’s live cooking class was delightful! I tuned in to check it out, without following along in the kitchen, and was engaged the whole session by her clear explanations of each step and her informative descriptions of the ingredients. I loved that she gave different tips, tricks and substitutions along the way.. I’ll be using those in my day-to-day culinary adventures!

What if I can’t attend live?

If you can’t make it on the specified date and time, you can watch the replay. It is available during the class if you arrive late, and immediately after the class ends.

Can I ask questions during the live online cooking class?

Yes! This cooking class is interactive and I encourage you to ask questions in the chat box. If you are purchasing or watching an online cooking class replay, you can email questions to info@jesselanewellnes.com.

How do I access the Live Online Cooking Class?

Once you purchase the cooking class, you will be sent a unique link to a page where you can view the live video stream, ask questions, and download a printable copy of the recipe.

I’m not a tech person, do I need any special software or equipment to view the live video stream?

Nope! The live online cooking class will be hosted on my website so you don’t need to install anything. All you need is a laptop, iPad or tablet with an internet connection.

Are the ingredients included in the cost?

Some of the live online classes are free! The ingredients are not included in the paid classes, make sure you pick up the ingredients at your local grocery store before the cooking class. This helps me keep the cost of the class so low.
