Health Benefits of Peaches

I absolutely love peaches! These wonderful fruits are at their peak from July to September, so I go all out to stock up on their goodness, knowing they come with a whole bunch of exciting health benefits.

  • Peaches are an awesome fruit choice because of their low glycemic index meaning they won’t spike your blood sugar.
  • These vitamin C powerhouses help your skin combat the sun’s rays to stay radiant.
  • They also contain tons of vitamin A to help keep your eyes sharp and healthy. Say goodbye to blurry vision and hello to peach-powered clarity!
  • Peaches have an amazing fibre, vitamin, and mineral combo that’s the perfect stress-busting recipe. When life gets tough, just sink your teeth into a juicy peach and feel your worries melt away.
  • Lastly, peaches bring their potassium punch to the party. They help to stabilize blood pressure, keeping it in check.

Peaches are a bundle of joy, both in taste and in the incredible benefits they bring. So go ahead, embrace the peachy fun and let these fuzzy wonders bring a smile to your face and good health to your body!

Health Benefits of Blackstrap Molasses

Molasses is an ingredient often reserved for fall and winter baking but I’m here to make a case for molasses to be used all year round. It pairs so beautifully with the spiciness of the ginger and the tang of peaches, plus did you know that blackstrap molasses actually has health benefits too?

  • It’s packed with iron, and it transports oxygen throughout the body, fueling energy production and metabolism.
  • Blackstrap molasses delivers a boost of calcium, strengthening bones, while also detoxifying the colon to reduce colon cancer risk. Plus, calcium aids nerve transmissions and can even help prevent migraines.
  • It’s also a powerhouse of manganese for energy, and copper for eliminating free radicals in the body.

  • Offers potent anti-inflammatory protection, easing arthritis symptoms and pain caused by inflammation.
  • Not only does ginger possess remarkable anti-nausea properties, but it also enhances circulation.
  • Boosts immunity, regulates blood sugar levels to prevent gestational diabetes and enhances nutrient absorption ensuring optimal health.
