During my segment on Breakfast Television, I show you some sneaky and delicious ways to add protein to snacks. Protein is the difference between a snack that has staying power and one that leaves you hungry an hour later. It leaves you feeling satisfied and provides long-lasting energy because it slows digestion and keeps blood sugar levels balanced.
I shared my sneaky ways to add protein to snacks and a bunch of recipes on Breakfast Television on June 23, 2017.

Detox Green Hummus
Detox Green Hummus is a zesty and refreshing dip that tastes delicious with veggies and crackers. It is packed with parsley that gives it a delicious fresh flavour and detoxifying properties. Parsley has liver and kidney cleansing properties. It is also an excellent source of energy-producing iron and bone-building calcium.
Date Bliss Bars
The perfect snack to have on hand and so much cheaper than the bars you buy in the store. I like to keep a batch in the freezer so I can grab one or two on the way to yoga. They are easy to digest and will give me energy and keep me full during the class. Adding lots of seeds and nuts to bars is one of the best ways to add protein to snacks.
