Jesse Lane Wellness Blog
March is here, and with it comes one of the most meaningful times to support the health and wellness of your employees. Created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, March is National Nutrition Month. This annual campaign is dedicated to helping people make informed food choices and develop healthy eating and physical activity habits. You might think that wellness and healthy eating are personal matters. The truth is that what your employees eat, and how well they nourish themselves, has a direct impact on your entire team and organization. Health and wellness for employees should be at the top of your mind this March.

(more…)In my opinion, clean eating can feel harder than it’s ever been. We are constantly bombarded with conflicting information, trending headlines and strong opinions about what we should and shouldn’t be eating. One minute, oat milk is the hottest new ultimate health food, and the next it’s labelled as terrible for blood sugar (btw I love oatmilk anyway). The next minute, full-fat foods are bad for you, then suddenly they’re considered essential for health. It’s exhausting and confusing, and it leaves so many people second-guessing every food choice they make. That is why today I wanted to share some tips on clean eating made simple.
(more…)As a busy professional and mother, I completely understand how challenging it can be to prioritize healthy eating while tackling a full schedule and endless responsibilities. Between work, family, and everything in between, it often feels easier to put your own health on the back burner. That’s why one of my biggest goals throughout my career as a Holistic Nutritionist and Corporate Wellness Speaker has been to teach you how to eat healthy with a busy schedule.

This is one of the biggest struggles I see with busy, health-conscious adults who want to eat better but are juggling work, family, picky eaters, and mental overload by the end of the day. During my upcoming cooking class, I teach how to make an easy, freezer-friendly recipe so you aren’t eating popcorn for dinner.

(more…)I had the pleasure of sharing my favourite healthy comfort food recipes on Breakfast Television. When the weather gets cold, and life gets busy, it is natural to crave meals that feel warm, cozy, and familiar. Comfort food has a way of grounding us at the end of a long day, but many traditional comfort foods can leave you feeling sluggish, overly full, or crashing later in the evening. The good news is that healthy comfort food does exist, and it can be quick, satisfying, and nourishing all at the same time.
The TV segment originally aired in January 2026. Watch the full segment here. Keep reading to get all of the recipes I shared.
(more…)Helping people learn how to meal plan is something I am very passionate about because it relieves so much unnecessary stress. It makes mealtime feel more organized and enjoyable. Instead of scrambling to figure out what to eat at the last minute, meal planning allows you to feel prepared, confident and in control of your week. It can also be a creative and fun process, giving you the opportunity to try new recipes, plan meals you genuinely look forward to, and make food something exciting rather than overwhelming.
(more…)The new year is the perfect time to refresh our routines. Instead of cutting foods out or jumping into restrictive diets, I like to focus on simple and realistic healthy food swaps. These small changes make everyday meals more nourishing while keeping all the flavour and enjoyment. They are approachable, affordable, and never feel like a sacrifice.
(more…)Well, here we are again, another new year where we can refresh our goals, routines and prove to ourselves that we can change the habits we’ve fallen into that aren’t providing us any positivity. This month, let’s jumpstart January with corporate wellness that works. Upgrade your team’s wellness habits and ensure they are back in their working mindset.
