Adding a scoop of collagen to coffee is a great way to add anti-inflammatory properties to your favourite morning drink. It dissolves really easily, but you can use a frother to make sure it is fully mixed.

Anti-inflammatory Tropical Smoothie

Tropical Bliss smoothie instantly transports you to a tropical paradise just by closing your eyes and taking a sip. The juicy mangoes are concentrated in Vitamin A and the tangy pineapples contain a digestive enzyme called bromelain which is great for reducing inflammation.

Cinnamon Blueberry Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a comforting breakfast that will warm you up from the inside out. To make my oats anti-inflammatory, I add collagen, omega-3 rich chia seeds and antioxidant-packed blueberries.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats (not instant)
  • 1 scoop marine collagen
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cups nut milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp nut butter
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup to taste
  • 2 Tbsp chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup blueberries

Directions

  1. Whisk together oats, collagen, cinnamon, milk, vanilla, and nut butter in small pot.
  2. Cook on medium-low for 8 to 10 minutes until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Spoon into a bowl and top with a drizzle of maple syrup, pecans, chia seeds, and blueberries.
