The Importance of Blood Sugar Management

Throughout the day, our blood sugar levels do a bit of a dance, influenced by what we eat, how active we are, and even how stressed we feel. When we enjoy carbs, our blood sugar levels rise as our bodies turn that food into energy (thanks, glucose!). To keep things in balance, our pancreas releases insulin, which helps our cells absorb that glucose for fuel.
